QUESTION: A TRC is not required for a PPTA that results in a loan project. However, is it realistic to expect staff to evaluate the PPTA (inputs, outputs, success) in the PCR for the loan project, which can be prepared many years later and when there may be little or not institutional memory regarding the PPTA?

ANSWER: The question raises a valid concern and will be reviewed shortly with the Regional Departments. In the interim, we suggest that best efforts be made to capture information available about the PPTA.
