QUESTION:

If the memo requesting for approval of a change in scope or implementation arrangements/increase in TA amount does not require Board approval, is TASU still required to prepare a Board information paper?

ANSWER:

Please refer to PAI 5.04 CHANGE IN PROJECT SCOPE OR IMPLEMENTATION ARRANGEMENTS, paras. 16 - 17. If the changes do not require Board approval, the preparation of a Board information paper is not required. However, changes in scope and implementation arrangements, including those approved by the Board, are reported by COSO to the Board through the quarterly portfolio updates (these include minor and major changes for Loan Projects and major changes only for TAs).
